Ladder Rules

 1.  On a players first challenge, the player may challenge any position on the ladder. After the first challenge, the
   
     player  may only challenge up to five positions above their position.

 2. Challenger and challenged shall negotiate a playing site preferably equal distance between players. The match
   
     may be played anywhere, however, no one shall be forced to play outside Cherokee County or to pay court fees.

 3.  Challenger shall provide new USTA approved balls. Ball type shall match playing surface (Soft / Hard). 
        Replacement balls not required by challenged.

 4.  Matches shall be best two out of three sets with a twelve point tiebreak at six games all in each set. Contests
   
     shall be decided using USTA Official Rules of  Tennis. Scores should be sent to coordinator by both participants.

 4.  A winning challenger moves above the loser's position.  A losing challenger results in no change.

 5. The challenged player must agree to play within two weeks or risk forfeiture of the match. No one will be forced 
        to play more than one match per week. Unusual circumstances may be appealed to ladder coordinator.

 6.  The Challenge Ladder is open to new members at all times.

 7.  This is just for fun, anyone who makes it not fun may be voted off by other participants.

 8.  Rules are subject to change with suggestions by participants.
